The  Western Mass .NET Users group, which is devoted to bringing together 
users,  developers and authorities on .NET will be hosting it's next monthly 
meeting  Wednesday, August 3 at 6:00 PM in Northampton.  This is a great place to 
find answers to  questions and learn the latest about the .Net environment. 
Software  developers, project managers, students and anyone interested in 
software  development on the Microsoft platform are encouraged to attend.   
The next  presentation will be  Advanced  ASP.net, by  Gary Chamberlain. Gary 
will cover various advanced ASP.net topics including data  caching, HTTP 
handlers and modules, embedding Javascript and styles (CSS) and  how to avoid 
cross-site scripting attacks (XSS).  
Gary  Chamberlain: has  over 20 years experience designing and developing 
software and managing  development projects.  He is currently working as a Senior 
Lead Software  Engineer for VistaPrint.com.  He founded and maintains 
MassOnline,  Inc. which offers online community websites and small business resources 
 for Massachusetts. He founded DesignerControls, Inc. which developed,  
marketed and sold various ActiveX controls including ImgX for imaging.  He  also 
wrote and maintains _www.news.us_ (http://www.news.us/) .
