Ken Hinckley of Good Time Video Productions in South Hadley, 413 536-5572, can convert from VHS to DVD. Reasonable and fast, too. He also edits, but I don't know if his work is the kind you are looking for. I only used him for a little editing of live action; most of my piece involved a series of still shots. However, Ken is clever at matching action to the nuances of any background music you use, though!
