Hey Doug,

My experience with Vonage has been pretty good.

The positives:
+ Really cheap (I pay $70.00 month, with a fax line, a 2nd phone line with a different number, an 800 number, and 1000 minutes of talk time)
+ Easy to set up
+ Good international rates
+ Good tech support

The negatives:
- When uploading large files at the same time you are talking on the phone, you sometimes get a glitch in the phone line and can lose your phone connection.
- Sometimes there is a bit of a delay when talking on the phone
- When I first started using the service, people on the other end of the phone line sometimes heard a slight echo. This seems to have stopped however.
- You have to set up the 911. Takes about 30 seconds to do so.
- In general, the audio quality is not quite as good as a regular land line but far better than a cell phone.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about Vonage.

Talk to you soon!
Paul

I know this thread has gone around before but am curious what people's experience with Vonage has been.
