[Hidden-tech] Verizon DSL slow?

To reiterate, unless someone has very special information, there is no
way anyone in Western Mass is going to get fiber-to-the-premises from
Verizon. That is something we are looking at doing in the Valley
ourselves (see http://slbc.westernmass.us), but false information and
hopes (that Verizon will do it for us) could be a serious obstacle.
