prefer to use a metal drill bit and make lots of holes in the
drive, then soak it in dishwater for an hour, then leave it
outside in the weather for a while before dropping it off at the
transfer station as scrap metal.</font></p>

corporations selling their old digital copiers and printers to
bulk buyers, who eventually shipped them off to Russia. Great!
How much info did they just hand over? I will never copy my tax
returns at Staples.</font></p>

drive and reload the OS. Not 100% secure but the average
person won’t get in. The G4 is so old it won’t be useful to
anyone. Take the hard drive and smash it against the ground

Could someone guide me on the best way to clear personal
data off a computer, but leave software on there? I have a
MacPro desktop computer and a G4 desktop that I want to give
away, and need to clear my files off beforehand, this week
