If you would like to speak to any of the plaintiffs on the legal case with Verizon in Pittsfield, please let me know, they are colleagues of mine. They have at least one attorney working on their case which, if folks are not aware, is due to Verizon installing and activating a tower in the Shacktown neighborhood of Pittsfield with no advance notice or approval from the residents in the neighborhood. 17 of the neighbors, including young children, have had to leave their homes due to severe illness and some have gotten cancer. Some have sold their homes, not having hope of a resolution anytime soon. The city at first filed a cease and desist with Verizon, who (surprise, surprise) did not comply, and then the city rescinded it (again, surprise, surprise, the officials have likely been paid off or threatened or both) This has been going on for about a year and a half. This is how the telecom giants play their evil games. And Verizon seems to be the leader of the pack. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:times new roman,serif;font-size:large;color:#444444"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:times new roman,serif;font-size:large;color:#444444">Here is just one of many articles about this case. If the plaintiffs prevail, and Verizon is told they have to shut down their tower, it will set a legal precedent across this country. <a href="http://www.iberkshires.com/story/69043/Shacktown-Residents-File-Suit-Against-Pittsfield-Over-Cell-Tower.html">www.iberkshires.com/story/69043/Shacktown-Residents-File-Suit-Against-Pittsfield-Over-Cell-Tower.html</a><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:times new roman,serif;font-size:large;color:#444444"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:times new roman,serif;font-size:large;color:#444444">So please be in touch if you would like me to connect you with Courtney Gilardi, the lead plaintiff. I have been in conversation with an "Executive Level" person and she has acknowledged there are problems, reading from the technical assessment tickets she receives from that division, and has refunded my recent payments. She said there IS a problem with a tower that serves my area (Leeds/Florence) which ends up reverting service to a tower near Amherst H.S., where there is also a problem. Not sure I have that quite right; not sure she does, as well. They are having contractors working on that tower, but not until November 30. She said she would understand if I switch carriers. I understand it is a problem with all the carriers and 5G in this area. I plan to file a complaint with the Dept. of Telecommunications and Cable and local legislators. If anyone would like to join me/help me in this effort, please let me know. I'm thinking of creating a petition.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:georgia,serif;font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:georgia,serif;font-size:small">Wendy Foxmyn<br></div></div>
