<p>I've had good luck with Google Fi -- it is unlimited talk and
text for a flat rate<br>
that does not include cell data - which you really don't need -
since most data usage is where there is wifi.<br>
I've looked into 55+ plans and they really don't work unless your
income is very low.</p>
<p>You make a comment about wifi and I figure you mean the phone as
a hot spot rather than the phone on wifi.<br>

morning I was woken up by a call from (supposedly) Verizon
saying my account had been discontinued for “verification.” I
spent more than half an hour on hold waiting to get a real
person to talk to me without any luck and decided I was done
with Verizon.</div>

would be very grateful for advice (pro and con) about other
carriers who have good coverage, good customer service, and

iPhoneSE and an Apple Watch. I want to keep the phone number I
have now and I don’t need a second line. I am a senior citizen
and I see that Consumer Cellular and T-Mobile have “55+” plans
but it doesn’t look as though they are unlimited talk and text. </div>

of the carriers offer a new phone as a perk on a new account. Is
that a good deal or does it not work out to be as beneficial as
they say it will be?</div>

works very well). </div>
