<div dir="ltr">Hmm, not sure, then. Besides something really obvious like rebooting the computer, I am not sure. There is a chance if the drive is old, it has reached its end of life. If it is a spinning HDD rather than an SSD, that may be what's happening. Or the circuitry for the external might be old, which is simpler to fix.
