1. is there a physical button on the laptop that looks like a
stick with curved lines radiating from it? Try pressing that if
there is - I've had a similar experience and, after trying
everything under the sun, I tried that and it miraculously fixed
everything.<br>
2. if it doesn't or they're no button, try going to the Dell
website and entering your serial # in the support section. They
should have a list of all the drives and firmware uptates.<br>
3. if that doesn't work, update windows to v10, I think it is
free, it was for v8.<br>

all up to date. I ran updates and repair on devices that I
thought could be related and it worked for a few hours then
disconnected again. </p>

(updating, rebooting, etc.) an error message came up that
said: </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Intel(r) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260…No
driver found.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Also: Network Controller…No driver found</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">And: Bluetooth Peripheral Device…No driver
found</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The last two have nothing in Properties
that tells me who provides them or anything useful.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This is a long way of asking if there is a
fix that I’m missing, if it is more likely that the wireless
adapter/card has died, and if so who would be the best
place/resource to fix it. </p>
