Wow! I never imagined that the network would reach its second decade when I started outreach to business owners to create the very first meeting. Nate Treloar offered space in his south Amherst office and sent out information to the opening event through his 90-person Christmas list. I added a number of people, including members of the new western Mass. Technology Enterprise Council (TEC). We expected maybe 10 people. Instead the office was swamped on that amazing night that Hidden Tech (then Hidden TEC) was born. Richard Roth took over building the discussion list with permission of a new board and eventually led development of today's website. By September we had a least 250 on the HT discussion list and by 2010 Rich said there were 2,000. If anyone wants to celebrate with me I will take you to the location on Wentworth Farm in Amherst where we held HT's first anniversary party. Or we can meet in Formosa (formerly Amherst Chinese) where our first ever board meeting was held. And a BIG THANK YOU to Rich for keeping Hidden Tech alive. How about writing to this list and tell us all how it has helped you build your business. And find me to tell me your experiences. That would make me very happy. be well!
