[Hidden-tech] using Google Suite for a small non-profit? +CRM?

Hi Andrew,

Even without LLMs helping ever more with spreadsheets, one can make or adapt a good CRM with Google's Sheets. As LLMs (like ChatGPT and Google's Gemini) increasingly help with sheets and all things GWS, I think it's a good option for you. It's really worth applying some basic librarian-like order to folders and files from the get-go because that will enable LLMs to help more and sooner. I hesitate to pitch it in this purely free help group my firm's service in helping with such setup--but in that spirit of help, I would suggest some guidance from an IT pro, which my firm is not, prior to applying basic librarian order. I'm pretty sure there are a few such IT pros on this list. One needs ever less system administrators for the likes of GWS as LLMs improve, but for the next few years, some guidance by an IT/GWS pro will save a lot of future time.

Best Regards,

Howdy HT,

I'm the current President of the Pioneer Valley Estate Planning Council. We're a non-profit (not for profit?) member organization of mostly estate attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors around continuing education.

We're wondering if Google Suite might be a good tech solution for us. We may have an administrator that changes from time to time and we want something transferrable/shareable among the leadership. We believe it's free for non-profits.

We need some file/folder storage and maybe a CRM. I know G Suite does not include CRM so we're open to budget friendly ideas.

Thanks,

Andrew
