[Hidden-tech] AI writing question

Dear Hidden Tech friends,

I just had an editing job and it appeared the author used AI to create the
manuscript.

Is there a way to determine if this is true?

Does AI lift content in clumps from published writing? If so, that could
put the writer using it to be charged with plagiarism.

I am eager to know about this.
