On my old Windows XP desktop that I was trying to retrieve some files from, I had an error message as follows: Alert! Chipset heat sink not detected. System halted. I did a search for this error message and found these instructions: Try doing flee power. To do flee power you have to unplug any external peripherals and also the power cable, hold down the power button for about 30 seconds .Then plug back the power cable and turn it on. The system should come on normally. What the heck is "flee power" and what does the fact that this worked indicate about this old computer? Thanks so much. Marcia Yudkin Goshen
