[Hidden-tech] Looking for Google Sheets formula help

Hey all,

I have a multi-tab Google Sheet that keeps stats on players in a game 
I'm helping manage. Looking to do some intra-sheet math to create an 
index of the players.

Essentially, TAB1, TAB2, TAB3 all have player names in a left column, 
and a score in the next column over that need to be combined, and posted 
to a matching player field in TAB4.

I already know how to do things like this:    =COUNTIF(Guild!A1:A82, 
"21")    but I need to grab one field from three tabs, based on matching 
player names in all four tabs.

Anyone has a minute and some expertise in this area?
