I have been using Mojave for a long time, and now Signal won't run using Mojave, and I use Signal a lot. If I need to use a stepping stone OS, please advise. If this is going to get complicated, is there someone willing to help, perhaps come on Zoom and I can screenshare to do a consult? I can't afford downtime on my laptop right now. Cloudways: Managed WordPress with a custom control panel. You choose your hosting layer - DigitalOcean, AWS, and others including Linode. CW provisions the resources so that you're not really directly interfacing with the cloud provider, just Cloudways. Most actions are point and click. The CLI experience is limited and optional. Scaling up to meet required resources is supposedly seamless (we haven't needed it yet) and you can add multiple sites per server at no additional cost. WPEngine: Managed WP, Shared and VPS options. One of my clients just migrated a WooCommerce site to their VPS option and the site performance has been great. Dreampress: A WP tuned version of their VPS offering, which is not a "normal" VPS (no root.) I used to love Dreamhost but have had increasing issues with their services. Message-ID: Our Free Web Clinic high school class client, Go Fresh Mobile Market , delivers locally grown organic produce to food-insecure people on SNAP and HIP benefits. They want a new website (see attached SOW) to help increase clients at delivery locations. Currently, the only way people get notified with reminders about deliveries is via Facebook, through screen snips from an Excel-based calendar mock-up (attached). We're going to add a WordPress events plugin so events are added and updated on the site. We'd like to be able to export these events to Facebook Events - at least to GFMM's Events feed. There is a WordPress plugin for it (hopefully still works) but it requires creating a Facebook Application (this might be the way ). This is WAY outside the paygrade of my high school students (who are just learning WordPress) and outside mine (given I am supervising 8 different projects like this on top of other teaching responsibilities, and don't use Facebook without a gun pointed at my head). But creating a FaceBook app to import events from a CSV seems like a great easy volunteer task for someone familiar with this ecosystem, and we would link to your portfolio site from this site to express personal thanks!
