A reply in the Reddit thread offers this method for cleaning up.  I can't
vouch for them, please proceed carefully if you try this:

If you logged in with Google, here are next steps:

Log in to Gainrep: https://www.gainrep.com This feels counterintuitive, but
without logging in, you can’t stop it from emailing your contacts, even if
rescind access on your Google Account. Be sure to log in with the same
Google account as you did when making an account.

Navigate to connections and find the queue of emails at the top. Click
“queue” and delete all. This stops the website from continuing to spam your
contacts after you delete your account.

Navigate to settings, scroll down, unsubscribe from all emails, then delete
your account. It will ask you to retype your name as confirmation. I also
changed my name to "Does Not Exist" along the way, as a bonus.

Rescind Google account access by logging into your Google account security
portal: https://myaccount.google.com/ Navigate to Security, scroll down to
Your Connections to Third Party Apps & Services, click on GainRep and
delete.
