This might seem like an odd question. If you do have access to Salesforce Pardot either for your company or a client, could I spend an hour or two building a sample Engagement Studio? I'll give you some background. I've worked with Salesforce Pardot for 6+ years. I'm applying for a new Salesforce Pardot role, but I'm currently unemployed. Salesforce doesn't allow you to have a 30-day trial of Pardot, so I need to just look at the work flow and logic within Pardot. I'm happy for you to look over my shoulder the entire time. I'm not interested in any of your data. I just need a live version of the software so that I can see all the business logic options available vs. trying to do it all in my head. I know it's a longshot, but I thought I'd ask. If anyone is interested in partaking, please email me directly (see signature below). Two rejoinders to past replies in this thread: I suppose it's a compliment when someone thinks one's writing was done by an LLM, though I've found LLMs produce the average of very good in output, which is very cost-effective, but LLM writing falls a couple of notches below that of top human writers. I suppose typos like mine would not necessarily indicate that an LLM did not write the text, because one could ask an LLM to produce a few typos to make it seem as though a human wrote it.? Rich mentioned "a number of LLM/Search projects" in the works somewhere. All but the crucial and foundational technical foundation of SEO is indeed accelerated with much lower cost by LLMs, and indeed my ALI venture applies to SEO-CRO first. (The underlying tech of LLMs has been central to search engines like Google since ~2021, uniting SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization or CRO via the nexus of "https://www.searchenginejournal.com/entity-seo/492947/"). Like LLMs, ALI applies to most business processes, not merely search marketing. My firm's website will post a summary and rationale of ALI next week--nothing to see there now on the matter. I imagine that some kind of LLM association could pool talents to create profession-specific ?https://openai.com/index/introducing-gpts/? (or the like with other LLMs). Each profession, like law, accounting, even kinds of retail service and stores, could have a committee to make their GPT based on a master schema established by the overall association. For reference, I stuck to Comcast/Xfinity for years because I wasn't comfortable with the local alternatives. Also we used to use some of the special channels more that lately -- see below about using Tivo/Plex. One of our staff was in Colrain then Ashfield a few years ago, and found various satellite options worked sorta, the delay limited some uses. However in answering your 2nd question - I have been looking at TV services: ??? we rarely watch much TV any more so PBS and Prime does it pretty much for us. SO This is not a short term answer, however I've been running a PLEX server recording tv shows for years so I've got many seasons I've never watched. And TiVo before that - so lots of shows and movies on a local NAS server - the TiVo recording require conversion which is not a big deal, I can detail if anyone interested - or even swap videos. Also, I found there are a few current shows we watch (like CBS Sunday morning) and, after years of Tivo, I hate commercials, SO I found using obsproject and showing the show on regular streaming (CBS News in this case) I can record the show and watch it delayed on Plex which runs on the NAS server. Hey after all this is a Tech group. Also, I wrote this when GCet came out and will be updating it: https://www.greenfieldsfuture.org/2018/03/gcet-and-tv-alternatives/ Be interested in anyone's stories about the issue Rich On 8/18/2024 10:27 AM, Andrew Bellak via Hidden-discuss wrote: > Has anyone switched from Comcast to GoNetSpeed and had any problems / > regrets? > > If not, what ?TV? service did you select and why? > > And what does it cost? > > Thanks, > Andrew -- Rich Roth CEO TnR Global Bio and personal blog:http://rizbang.com Building the really big sites:http://www.tnrglobal.com Small/Soho business in the PV:http://www.hidden-tech.net Places to meet for business:http://www.meetmewhere.com And for Arts and relaxation: http://TarotMuertos.com - Artistic Tarot Deck http://www.welovemuseums.com http://www.artonmytv.com/ Shakers:http://www.shakerpedia.com/ Helping move the world:http://www.earththrives.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I now have Wendell Net (gigabit fiber). I have Amazon Prime and a Roku TV (ONN). Amazon Prime is like $15/month. I *occasionally* "rent" movies and TV via Vudo). There is plenty of stuff on Freevee, Roku, Tubi, Pluto, etc. (yes, with ads). Many segments from MSNBC and CNN are available via YouTube as well, along with other "interesting" stuff: SciShow, etc.. *I* have no interest in local TV or sports, so no loss for me, but there appears to be some live sports on Amazon Prime (I scroll past it looking for other stuff). Sooner or later stuff on Netflix or Paramount (Wenesday, Star Trek) eventually end up on DVDs that I can borrow from the library (free). Ditto for movies (eg Dune). Just requires some patience. :-) At Sun, 18 Aug 2024 10:27:59 -0400 Andrew Bellak wrote: > > Has anyone switched from Comcast to GoNetSpeed and had any problems / > regrets? > > If not, what ??????TV?????? service did you select and why? > > And what does it cost? > > Thanks, > Andrew > > -- > > > Andrew Bellak > > Partner | Wealth Advisor > > Perigon Wealth Management > > O: 413.306.3244 x.1 > > F: 888.735.4537 > > E: andrew at stakeholderscapital.com > > New York | Amherst MA | San Francisco | Santa Monica > > > Secure File Upload > > -- Robert Heller -- Cell: 413-658-7953 GV: 978-633-5364 Deepwoods Software -- Custom Software Services http://www.deepsoft.com/ -- Linux Administration Services heller at deepsoft.com -- Webhosting Services From wennemyr.magnus at gmail.com Mon Aug 19 13:37:44 2024 From: wennemyr.magnus at gmail.com (Magnus Wennemyr) Date: Mon, 19 Aug 2024 09:37:44 -0400 Subject: [Hidden-tech] GoNetSpeed vs Xfinity/Comcast? In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: We switched to GoNetSpeed from Comcast last October, and have been extremely pleased. - Cost: At that time there was an early-adopter promotion in Amherst, so installation for us was free, including a router (semi-decent) to keep, a $100 rebate, and a first-year rate of $69.95, for 1Gbit. I don't know what it is now. Unlike Comcast where every month some new charge would be added, there have been no increases or upcharges of any kind. - Support: GoNetSpeed support has been good to excellent depending on the day. Because of my own doings I had some troubles for over a month earlier this year, and their support worked with me multiple times, replacing all hardware for free (including the line to our house), eventually escalating my issue to their engineering team who were able to pinpoint the problem within my own network. - Connectivity: The day after I switched we had no internet for several hours, and I despaired (greatly!), but over the past near-year there have been extremely few glitches, fewer or comparable to Comcast. They have no statistics available on their website, unfortunately. - Watching TV: We plugged in a roku stick to the back of the TV, connected it to the WiFi, a $40 one-time cost. Through there we watch the services we have signed up for (Netflix, Apple+, others have listed other choices). These will not get you live TV, so we also signed up for YoutubeTV for CNN/MSNBC/The Daily Show, NewsMax (haha) and whatnot. There are competitors (e.g. Sling), all with their own selection of channels. With YoutubeTV you can record any or all programs very conveniently to your hearts content, and view later, fast-forward through ads and whatnot. Drawback: it's pricey at ~$75 after an introductory few months free trial. There are cheaper ones, but I saw none with the channels we wanted. Still, at a combined fixed cost of ~$150/month less than we paid for cable. - FWIW, I switched out the router from GoNetSpeed for a Google Nest mesh. I have been largely pleased with that choice as well. Happy to discuss. - Magnus On Sun, Aug 18, 2024 at 11:16?AM Andrew Bellak via Hidden-discuss < hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> wrote: > Has anyone switched from Comcast to GoNetSpeed and had any problems / > regrets? > > If not, what ?TV? service did you select and why? > > And what does it cost? > > Thanks, > Andrew > > -- > > > Andrew Bellak > > Partner | Wealth Advisor > > Perigon Wealth Management > > O: 413.306.3244 x.1 > > F: 888.735.4537 > > E: andrew at stakeholderscapital.com > > New York | Amherst MA | San Francisco | Santa Monica > > > Secure File Upload > > > IMPORTANT: Perigon Wealth Management, LLC is a registered investment > advisor.
