The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) is seeking a
part-time, temporary Drupal project consultant for the next phase of our
website migration to Drupal 10. This phase of the project involves
rebuilding a large number of complex Drupal Views currently in Drupal 7 on
our Drupal 10 development website.  Candidates should have familiarity with
Drupal back-end website management, including Drupal Views. Experience
writing HTML is required and knowledge of CSS and PHP would be helpful.
Candidates should be able to work independently and problem-solve using
online resources. Candidates must also have excellent attention to detail
and be able to precisely follow instructions.

The hours are flexible and applicants can work from home or the NESEA
office in Greenfield.  The chosen candidate will work under supervision of
the NESEA IT Manager. This is a short-term position for an estimated 2-3
months, depending on the number of hours worked per week, based on a
proposed 12-18 hours per week. Employment may be extended for a later phase

The printer is about 11 years old. It was working fine until about two
weeks ago when the Error light lit up and stayed on. This usually indicates
a problem with the rollers for the paper feed. It prints fine using the
single feed, but will not print from the tray. I replaced the rollers and
followed all the advice from Brother tech support and have now been told
that it needs to be serviced and there is no place near here that services
this printer. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you ever replaced the fuser unit?  Eg is it still on its original fuser 
unit?

I have a Brother HL-5370DW (also a monocrhome laser) that is 14 years old and
still working just fine.

I recently bought a new laptop. I used laplink to transfer the contents 
of my old computer to the new one. In the process of getting it started, 
it installed OneDrive. I didn't want OneDrive -- especially after it did 
what it did...

  * It set up a new user path for a user that doesn't exist
  * Created 2 bogus users that can't be deleted
  * I have an odd collection of users one set up by OneDrive, the other
    the "Real one"

Am happy to pay for any help one of you can do to help me. Otherwise, 
can you recommend someone who could help me out.

I'm confused - are you recording the talk also - because otherwise 
you'll just have a power-point you can convert to various forms.
Also, that sounds like 2 laptops or running an interesting parallel 
recording on the same laptop showing the presentation.

For those I've recorded, I'd go with a recording of the speaker (on cel 
on a stand) and a PDF/slide version of the PPT.
You using the video camera on the 1st laptop or a cel/video camera for 
the recording ?

And with my experience, and probably nothing you don't know, is to try 
that setup well before hand.

Given what you normally do - how is this different ?

Depending on the laptop, you could try something like OBS Studio to 
record right on the presentation laptop

Yes, an HDMI splitter will do that.View HD is a brand you can find on Amazon that does not pass along HDCP signal, which even with legitimate original content often gets flagged as copyrighted material and shuts down data transmission. It's about $20 or so and very reliable.

This will allow me to record the presentation on my laptop (including all
of the complex animations in the powerpoint) while simultaneously recording
the presenter audience/room/screen with my 4k field camera and then edit
between them at a later date.

I've got a number of projects that could use an assistant for general work.
Much is wordpress, some is other platforms or online search, or 
documented procedures.
Willing to train.

Periodic meetings - f2f is possible mostly at home/own schedule work.
Jr pay rate plus some projects have commissions or 'recovery fees' (like 
selling books or whatever)
