Hi there,

So I have a client who has old files in WordPerfect. They were pulled off a crashed machine and I tried to open them on a Windows 11 machine. I tried Word, downloaded the new version of WP and tried that. Nada. Tried an online conversion tool. That didn’t work either.

The question is whether her files are corrupted* or are her files so old that an even older copy of WP is required than what the current word processors can handle?

*when they open I just see lots of characters.
