My Android phone has the option of "syncing" photos I take with it to Google 
Photos (this is free, but you needs a Google account).

My Android phone *also* has a uSD slot, which I populated with a 32G uSD card. 
I keep all of my files there, and reserve the built-in "drive" for things like 
the apps themselves.
