Deb,

I've tried using GoDaddy's domain broker in the past and there's nothing 
they can do if the owner doesn't respond. The only thing they have that 
you don't is the account holder's email address. The contact info on the 
domain itself, if not hidden, can be different, and often is. If you 
haven't already tried a WHOIS to see those domain contact details, I 
would try sending an email to info@ the domain just to see if the 
address exists.

content but they are not linking to the menu. Makes no sense. It is like
the home page looks the same on all of the navigation links. When you go to

I have a related question: for months, once I publish a post, I can't edit
it. In the formatted view, the text disappears and it shows zero word
count. In text view, it's all there including the coding, but it goes away
when I click in.

Thanks everyone. So basically when I go to my pages and view it is showing
the home page across the board. When I go to page edit, it shows my actual
content. Permalinks set to custom, saved and plug ins updated. Broken
template?  My kind of advisor who I try not to bother states to use
Advanced Custom Field to avoid unstable templates and to do custom design.
Well with ACF you still need a template to get started correct?  Yes, that
seems like the answer but it has a learning curve.  I was trying to get a
job with an agency so I could be coached a bit but now I am right in the
build mode solo for this company.  I am not complaining I just was not
quite ready and now I need to execute.

Hi Chad - yeah, using ACF in this situation is like buying a mobile home 
because your roof is leaking.

It sounds like you need a WordPress expert in there to troubleshoot. I 
can take a look for $20, I might have some time in the next few days. 
Otherwise, anyone else want to try to tackle this?

when you say Page edit - do you mean from the page itself OR from the 
dashboard - if from the dashboard then the front page is not what you think.
Check the customizer and see what the front page is defined as - maybe 
the front page is actually the post list, which means the issue is with 
the theme

Thank you Rich. That is it. I have worked with navigation before and had no
issues and I kind of got lost in it. That is why some people recommend ACF
to build your own theme to protect breaks if you will. Sure you have to dig
into some PHP. Thank you so so much my boss has me on other projects

Anyone with experience setting up to sell on Amazon?

Can it be done relatively easily and without breaking the bank?

What I have in mind is low volume and not necessarily long term.

Significant overhead makes no sense.

An alternative might be if someone nearby has a setup already (for 
books) and is willing to take an allotment on commission. I have 50 
copies (new, shrink wrapped) of a Chinese language publication that is 
otherwise not available in the West. I also have an indeterminate, but 
small, number of DVDs of historical diaries (in English with the cover 
and table of contents in English and Chinese) that have an overlapping 
market with the book, which is the Autobiography of David Crockett 
Graham. This might be an easier option for me, especially if there were 
someone pleasant and agreeable to work with.

How simple is it actually to set up a non-profit in Massachusetts?

Are there enough pitfalls that one really should have the help of a lawyer?

I'm interested in setting up a historical trust that would solicit 
donations, write grants, and fund specific projects that meet the stated 
objectives of the trust. Bank account, board of directors, agent in 
residence (me), etc.

Just get forms from the State and do it?

Are there self help sites that are really to be avoided? (Showing up in 
Google sponsored ads when you do a search.) Or ones that are legit and 
helpful? Or recommendations for a lawyer?

from my experience, it sounds more like etsy than amazon - although etsy 
seems to be focused on crafts not published material
our tarotmuertos.com is small volume while 100 times what you are 
talking about.
Not if sure it's a craiglist type of item

I think the bookseller would be a better idea - I know Roundabout does a 
lot of online business - although I don't think they take items on 
commission.
You might be at a volume for a site like one of these:

I think you might be mixing up Non-profit and trust, or at least your 
summary looks like that.

If you do mean getting donations to pass-on to other groups, than yes, 
maybe.
I'm not sure you need a trust depending on the size of the fund.

You've probably found this:

Ck with https://communityfoundation.org/ - I think they handle donor 
advised trusts.
I talked to them at some point and then dollar amount to justify such a

Right ebay is a good one to try also

One area to watch closely is shipping cost:
Amazon at low volume is NOT free to the buyer - and setting up for 
various zones can be a bit tricky esp if not ship out of the USA.
We got bit from Ebay on not setting the cost + shipping cost right.

Also watch for USPS book rate -- the rules have some catches - like 
magazines have ads and so do not qualify.

It costs nothing up front to sell books on Amazon.? Only their commission and fee after the sale.? See link above.

Ditto for eBay.
