I had Sprint when I moved to the Pioneer Valley, which was purchased and converted by T-Mobile soon after. Nothing changed with their quality, which was very poor and I don't recommend them. The stretch of 91 in the area is solid, but travel too far into the hilltowns and you're out of luck. Vermont was practically a no-go in most areas. Connecticut was fine all the way down to New Haven. Boston was fine. Phones I experienced this on: iPhoneX, Samsung S3, Pixel 5a, MotoG5 plus. I have since switched to Consumer Cellular, which leases from AT&T. There are some questionable spots here and there, but they're truly only noticable about 1% of the time, and the call quality in more rural regions is perfect so far. I was on the Appalacian in the Great Barrington region and had no trouble down in the trees. This experience was entirely with the Moto and Pixel phones. Hope that helps.
