You leave your car in the hotel's lot, at no charge--that's the whole beauty of the deal. On trips of more than a week, the cost of the room can be less than the daily cost of parking at one of the airport lots. I think you can leave it for as long as two or three weeks, depending on the hotel. You want one quite close to the airport. We've done this 3 times and one of those, we were at a Roadway Inn 8 or 10 miles away and the van stopped at every hotel along the way. It took about an hour. The first hotel we used (I don't remember the name, sorry--it was back in 2010) was within a couple of miles of the terminal and it worked out very well. Usually, we just leave our car at Parking Spot self-park for $6-7/day --but the park-ride-fly option is great for very early morning flights outbound or late-night arrivals, as well as if weather conditions make it unsafe to drive to BDL on the day. ᐧ On Tue, Feb 1, 2022 at 9:48 PM Rich at tnr via Hidden-discuss < hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> wrote: > we've done that a few time, and there a number of hotels near the airport > with shuttles you can confirm will get > you for an early flight when you checkin.
