[Hidden-tech] Recommendations for wi-fi extender?

I've been using a TP Link extender for several months. I have no basis to
compare it to anything else. In general, it does make my Wi-Fi stretch
further into the house, but it is not problem-free. I still have signal
problems even close to the router extender.
