Gordon, We had a similar problem to solve, and was suggested by Brian at About Face in Turners to buy a couple of ethernet-over-powerline units. https://www.staples.com/TP-LINK-AV500-Nano-Powerline-Adapter-Starter-Kit-TL-PA4010KIT/product_2123917 <https://www.staples.com/TP-LINK-AV500-Nano-Powerline-Adapter-Starter-Kit-TL-PA4010KIT/product_2123917> We already had power running out to our pavilion (orange extension cord) for seasonal music and lighting, so we plugged one of these puppies into each end (with the house-end also plugged into our modem/router) and added a cheap wifi station out back, and voila. I find this a better solution than piggybacking wifi to another wifi unit, especially over such a distance. There is no lag. We streamed the new Mulan in our backyard last fall using a Roku Express.
