I thought the defunct Google Plus was better than FB for many things. Though it was shut down for consumers, it continued for Enterprise G Suite customers, and will be available for all G Suite in July (beta now I think). I bet it would be pefect for HT, assuming non-Gsuite people can use it, while only setup and management requires G Suite.

I use FB for browsing and socializing, but hate it for things like this
group because there is no guaranteed delivery.
