[Hidden-tech] Trademarks

We registered our trade mark ourselves on the USPTO website and subsequently submitted renewal forms at 5 years and just recently at 10 years. It's not difficult if you're good at following directions and work your way slowly through their forms. We only had to bring in an attorney when they challenged the legitimacy of the trademark. (We won.) I suggest saving the money and doing it yourself.

    Hi HT,
What is your experience with trademark lawyers? Specifically using a trademark attorney vs. going on a website that does it for you. Such as LegalZoom or something similar). I would assume a knowledgeable attorney would be the better choice, I’m just wondering for a cost comparison.
    It’s something that I’ve created as a logo/future brand.

    Thank you in advance!
