Dear Hidden-Tech friends, I thought I would chime in on headsets. I run Yes Computers in Northampton so we get to compare a number of different headsets. I agree and highly recommend the Sennheiser model MB Pro 1. I discovered this model when a colleague who travels a lot by car would call from his vehicle - the audio quality was phenomenal with little background noise and a sound clearer than speaking directly into an iPhone; this is a single sided Bluetooth headset. I don’t typically chime in with product/services recommendations as this amazing forum is not the place for commercial self promotion… ...however Yes Computers has a number of very dedicated staff who are manning the store providing Mac sales and iOS/iPhone/AppleCare repairs during this challenging time. The store is open M-F 10-5 for curbside pickup/delivery. We are expecting a delivery today of a single Sennheiser headset sometime today ($149). I like the Apple Air Pod Pro’s which lot’s of TV personality are using as well. As a courtesy to all Hidden-Tech colleagues we are waving any diagnostic fees for needed services. Additionally for all community healthcare and first responder providers we will prioritize all repair work as well as waiving diagnostic and extra fees for the duration. Stay healthy and good cheer in these crazy times. All of them at home, all on Zoom. My hunch is that the Air Pods are your (expensive) answer. I’ve got a yen for them myself. > > HTH > Annamarie > > On 14 Apr 2020, at 15:35, donna brooks via Hidden-discuss wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > I am teaching on zoom. When I do one on one work I can just wear my apple ear buds (I have a MacBook Pro) but when I teach classes I need to move around and then the sound is not good! Part of the issue is that the room has high ceilings but I am wondering if some kind of blue tooth or wireless headset would work. It is extremely confusing to me to research this. Do you have an recommendations? I just want people on the zoom conference to hear me clearly! > > > Best, > Donna > > -- > Donna Brooks, BS, RSMT, C-IAYT > Somatic Movement Education, Yoga Therapy and Embodied Meditation > www.originalbodywisdom.com <http://www.originalbodywisdom.com/> > 413 230 -1260 > donnabrook at gmail.com <mailto:donnabrook at gmail.com> > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net <http://www.hidden-tech.net/> > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net <mailto:Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members <http://www.hidden-tech.net/members>_______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net <http://www.hidden-tech.net/> > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net <mailto:Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
