A Dual layer DVD (DVD+R DL) can hold up to 8.4 GB. Most current DVD writers support that format, so check the specs for your drive to see if it does. 16GB flash drives can be bought for less than $5 (Amazon, etc.), which makes that a better choice unless you have a system that does not allow booting from a flash drive. If you want a bootable image on just about any medium large enough to hold the Windows 10 ISO, download the free Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.
