Great opportunity with ThinkGlobal Inc., a publishing, marketing, and
e-commerce company that publishes Commercial News USA, a bi-monthly magazine
for the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, as well as several other business
publications and websites.
 
Full-time, part-time or contract work.
 
Full-time benefits include healthcare coverage, paid vacation, optional
retirement plan participation. Salary commensurate with experience.
 
Some of the job's primary responsibilities:

. Developing PHP and/or Ruby on Rails web applications in a mixed
environment
. Creating and updating MySQL databases 
. Updating the content of existing web sites 
. Diagnosing and maintaining workstations and servers
. Corresponding with customers 

Required skills:

. Ability to write standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
. Knowledge of at least one major scripting language (PHP, Ruby, Perl,
Python, etc)
. Comfortable with object-oriented design
. Ability to learn new languages on the job
. Knowledge of SQL, including joins, views, and triggers
. Comfortable in a Linux environment
. Experience with Excel 
. Experience with Mac OS a plus
. Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
. Good time management skills
