Wouldn't Webmail give her access to everything?

Subject: [Hidden-tech] Retreiving Website Email for Client with AOL Mail
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I have a web development client who would like to receive email sent to her website. She uses AOL Mail, which does not have the capability to fetch mail from a POP account, as does Gmail.
The two options I see are:
1.. Install an email client like Thunderbird to retrieve messages from both accounts. An email client of course does not have the same versatility of access as web-based email.
2.. Move her to Gmail, with its general advantages over AOL mail. This would include importing her AOL messages and contacts from AOL, which I have read must be done via download to an email client and then upload to Gmail.
Have you developers had experience with this or a related scenario? What do you recommend?
Thanks,
David Shakun
