[Hidden-tech] Gmail troubleshoot needed

Hi all,

Has anyone had this happen:

A friend's Gmail account has deleted all emails to an from me (from Comcast
account as well as newer Gmail ones) and it has also happened with other
people he has corresponded with.

He has already added us to his Contact list, and the missing messages are
also not showing up in his Spam folder.

Any idea what is happening? I just got my Gmail account recently, and am
wondering if this could be happening to me without my knowledge.
