Excellent point. If you know the domain you want, and you know it's
available, why not register it?

Well, Godaddy and other registrars don't do it, and I haven't ever had a
problem registering a domain that I checked even a week or so before. I
wouldn't wait very long to register any domain, even more than a day or two
max.
