I don't think so.  It is highly dependent on the PDF viewing
application (there are *several*) and whether or not the user has a PDF
viewer with a browser plugin.  It also depends on the browser (again
there are several).

Again this depends on the PDF viewing application and/or the web
browser.  It also depends on the user's preferences settings and the
user's screen size and resolution.

Also it is really a bad idea to even attempt to 'control' (even to be
helpful) the user's display.  The best you can do is make suggestions.
