[Hidden-tech] Mac Book Pro Heat Question

If I'm running a lot of processor intensive apps the fan will kick on. It
didn't first kick on until I had it a month or so and at first I couldn't
figure out what was making the racket.

The fans are triggered when the internal temperature gets to a certain
point. I find for the most part the MBP are very cool. I have used them on
my lap every once in a while.

They are no longer called laptops, but notebooks for this very reason.

Speaking of MBP how is your optical drive? I found it doesn't like some
CD/DVDs and makes an sound like glass breaking and spits the disc out. Other
CD/DVDs play fine.
