Thanks to everyone for your answers! This discussion (especially Marcia's
response) brought up some interesting questions about how much you can
"protect" anything that's out there on the Web. My client knows that he
can't stop anyone who's bound and determined to steal his software, but his
main goal is to offer better support to the honest ones who will fill out
the registration form.
