[Hidden-tech] Mac help and resources needed in Guatemala

Hi Hidden-Techies,

I'm looking for someone interested in volunteering to help a group in
Guatemala that has taken delivery of a container of Macs for use in schools.
The container contained about 150+ early iMacs and 150+ All-In-One G3
machines. There are looking for someone to give them technical assistance
(by email, fax, phone and mail) with setting up the machines which are now
in a warehouse. They have little prior experience with Macs.

The Peace Corps volunteer is American but it would obviously help if someone
knew Spanish. Also very helpful would be some CDs with Mac OS 9 Spanish
localized installers. My piece was to help them get the computers, but I
don't have the time or resources to offer ongoing assistance in addition to
the work I'm doing with organizations in Zambia.

Anyone interested in helping with the project, please contact me and I'll
put you in touch with the folks in Guatemala.
