[Hidden-tech] Programmer for small desktop app

Hi all,

A client of mine is hoping to give away a small downloadable program on her
Web site. She teaches a breathing/relaxation technique, and she'd like her
customers to be able to install a little program that pops up a reminder to
do their breathing at intervals - the timing would be specified by the
person who installed it. I'm not sure what platform(s) she's targeting -
probably Windows at least, but a Mac option might be helpful too.

If you could create such a thing, could you give me a rough estimate of
cost?
