For a low tech solution I often point my iSight webcam at my own computer 
screen.   The client connects via iChat (Mac) or AOL IM (PC).   The client sees 
my screen.   This way I can show video as well as text.   The iSight (Mac) 
camera has the resolution to make my computer screen viewable by the client.   
Sometimes, in a one to many situation, the client will project their signal on a 
screen via an LCD video projector.   Works find in causal situations.
