It's hard to believe over two weeks have passed since our last event,
"Introduce Yourself in Technicolor," with Sasha Zebryk. What a great night!
To start, the Marriott Courtyard wait staff wandered among us with wonderful
hors d'oeuvres, while the room buzzed with networking chatter. Sasha then
led a dynamic workshop, both entertaining and informative. It was also very
productive giving many of us the guidance needed for creating introductions
to be remembered, recalled, and referred. There was a great deal of
lingering afterward. Some practiced their new introductions while others
reached out to meet the many who attended.
A great deal of effort went into the event running smoothly so a special
thanks goes to Dina Polizzi, our new programming chair. She brings
creativity, a broad view perspective, as well as nuts and bolts event
planning experience. (Give her a call or send email if you'd like to become
part of her team and have fun planning future events.) Thank you to greeter
Dan Fried for managing registration and Afranio for logistical help.
Our sponsor, TNR Global ensured that Hidden-Tech members attended a workshop
for less than a third of its usual cost.
Thank you to everyone who attended...your personal insights and shared
Technicolor introductions made it a truly memorable event.
Here are just a few of the creative new ways people are introducing
themselves:
Before: I preserve the stories of loved ones for families who are too busy
to do it themselves.
After: I turn your loved one's memories into major motion memoirs.
Carlyn Saltman, Your Story Matters
Before: I provide IT Resources that FIT Your Business.
After: I find employees so perfect that you'll ask,
"Does she have a sister"
Jackie Fallon, FIT Solutions, LLC
Before: I'm the author of the upcoming book Free From Corporate America,
a tactical guide to success on your own terms.
After: I'm writing a book that makes work irrelevant.
Jon Reed
