NETWORKING NIGHT AT HCC - TOUR OF NEW KITTREDGE CENTER

Where: Holyoke Community College Kittdredge Center, 303 Homestead Ave.,
Holyoke, Mass.

Come on down to Holyoke Community College on
Monday, Nov. 13 for a networking night with
Hidden-Tech network users and the staff of Holyoke Community College.

Jeff Hayden, Vice President of Business and
Community Services and Executive Director of The
Kittdredge Center will be there as our personal
tour guide. Many of you remember Jeff at the head
of economic development for the City of Holyoke.
He's a super guy who with John Aubin of Open
Square provided us the space for Hidden-Tech
Connect, our major showcase in the spring of
2005. I'll never forget Jeff running over from
his office with tape and scissors to help myself,
Kelly Minton (with baby in tow) and Gianinna
Silverman set up an enormous room with 50-plus tables by ourselves.

The place to meet is the 3rd floor lobby of the
fabulous new Kittdredge Center. (see
<http://www.hcc.edu/>HCC.com for location on
campus). Besides having plenty of schmooz time,
you'll have a chance to tour this center for
entrepreneurship and meet HCC administrators and
staff in the People's Bank conference room. .

The recently completed center was funded by
Michael Kittredge, founder of Yankee Candle and a
true Hidden-Techie. The legend has it that Mike
founded Yankee Candle back in the 1980s or so
from his garage in So. Hadley and the rest is
history. Mike is certainly and inspiration to us
all and the center named for him is an extraordinary facility.

We will arrange for display tables so you can put
out hand-outs, but this is NOT an exhibition.
Just time to explore a great venue, meet
educators and college staff and maybe some students.
