HIDDEN-TECH BOARD SEEKING NOMINEES
Hidden-Tech voting members will vote on a steering committee (also called
board) at the first steering committee meeting on September. Although the
vote is limited to those who contribute at least 25 hours of service per
year and/or $500 plus 10 hours of service, all those in the Hidden-Tech
community can submit nominations to the board. Please reach either Amy
Zuckerman or Jon Reed through the CONTACT button at www.hidden-tech.net.

INFORMAL ORIENTATION SESSION ON JULY 25
DATE: Tuesday, July 25
LOCATION: ALL FIRED UP, Hadley
TIME: 6 - 7:30 p.m.
COST: No entrance fee
Anyone who wants to learn more about Hidden-Tech and our new Web
developments meet at the bar at All Fired Up at 6 p.m., Rt. 9, Hadley. The
restaurant is just east of the Coolidge Bridge a few miles on your left
heading towards Amherst.
This will be an informal session with plenty of time to schmooz a bit and
learn how to leverage the organization. There's a cash bar and dinner
available for those who want to stay and eat. Please be prepared to cover
your own food/drink bill.

HIDDEN-TECH OPENER - Date/location in late September to be announced
NEW MEDIA FOCUS GROUP -Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 5 - 7 p.m. - - The Jones
Library basement room, Amity Street, Amherst. Open to the public. A
discussion with regional economic developers, government officials and new
media entrepreneurs on how to build this cluster, whether you are in Web
development, animation, documentary film, special effects, software
development, writing/editing, talent agents, producing/directing, acting,
etc . . .
INTERNSHIP FAIR - Monday, Oct. 23 - 5 to 8 p.m., UMass Student Union Ballroom
