HIDDEN TALENT MAKES A COLLABORATIVE GIANT:
A Structured Network with the Regional Technology Corporation
Location: Holiday Inn Express, Hadley, Rtes. 116 and 9
When: Tuesday, Sept. 12
Time: 5 - 8 p.m.
Food: Light food provided/Bring snacks to share
Cost:$10 for the public/FREE to Hidden-Tech dues-paying members
Here's your chance to come out of summer hiding and mingle with fellow
members of the Hidden-Tech network and some of the larger companies in
the region that make up the Regional Technology Corporation (RTC) based
in Springfield.
Ellen Bemben, the new RTC president, will be on hand to provide a brief
explanation of the RTC and how it represents regional companies. The RTC
is the connection to government officials on a regional and state level,
along with key institutions. It represents some of the larger tech and
biotech companies in The Pioneer Valley, along with a key link to major
academic and other institutions.
Ravi Kulkarni, Business & Executive Coach, has prepared a two-part
program. He will open with a fun quiz on the RTC to follow Ellen's talk.
The winner will receive a gift certificate to a local Indian restaurant
to be announced. To prepare for the quiz, Ravi suggests you bone up on
the RTC at www.rtccentral.com.
Following the quiz, Ravi will facilitate a structured networking session
he is calling "Hidden Talent Makes a Collaborative Giant" that will
offer Hidden-Tech and RTC company owners a chance to interact and
explore both needs for new business/projects, as well as needs for
resources. The aim, he says, is to take individuals from Hidden-Tech and
create "a virtual collaborative giant that can collectively tackle some
of the most complex problems."
Ravi will divide the group by market sectors. He then plans to call on
RTC and other businesses to provide challenges that require
collaborative support. He will facilitate bringing together
collaborators to address these case-study needs.
If you are interested in participating, here is what we want you to do:
