We've used opensrs (also known as TuCows) for quite a while, maybe 20 years. We had over 2,000 domains before sold off a major client and started to retire -- we still have 2-300. The client moved this domains to Dyn.com, which looks like Oracle bought them. Opensrs as a pretty decent pricing - you can see at: https://opensrs.com/services/domains/domain-pricing/ and they have just introduced a pricing that gives better discounts for volume. These are all reseller pricing - their retail group is hover.com Their interface is good for basic operations, or you can use their API to your own domain management, which is what I did -- they also provide DNS, forwarding and other related services. Their interface has batch changes or you can program bulk changes - like DNS transitions. I scripted moving all our domains (1500 at that time) to their DNS.
