About 2 years ago, I successfully did a file transfer from MacBook (vintage 2009 or so) to a new Windows 10 laptop as follows: Remove hard drive from MacBook. (I don't recall what aspect of the MacBook was so dysfunctional as to make this an appealing solution.) Using a $10 kit (from eBay or Amazon) that gives a "bare" hard drive power and a USB connection, connect it to the (new) Windows 10 laptop. Install a free trial version of software on the W10 machine that would read a Mac-formatted hard drive. Copy any /all Mac documents, photos, etc. onto the W10's hard drive. -- Duane Dale On Mon, Mar 12, 2018 at 9:53 PM, Shel Horowitz <shel at principledprofit.com> wrote: > Thanks, Robert and Jeff.
