[Hidden-tech] Volunteer Instructors Needed for Tech Foundry (503c)

Hello all,

Tech Foundry is looking for volunteers to teach specific IT classes for our winter-spring cohort. We are a 503c IT workforce training program located in Springfield where we train people in several entry level tech skills to place them into jobs around the Pioneer Valley. Our typical student ranges between the ages of 20-40, is from the Springfield area, and is new to the field. During the program, students are taught in-house for the first five weeks of the program on foundational IT skills such as hardware, operating systems, and networking. The remaining four weeks of instruction will cover specialized areas of IT and will be taught by local volunteers. By the 10th week students are sent to a four-week internship to develop their professional network, and possibly get a job.
We are currently looking for IT professionals, graduate students, or hobbyists in the area who would be interested in volunteering to teach classes for our current cohort. The program runs Monday-Friday from 12:30-5:00 from January 16th - April 19th. Classes run for 90 minutes, and we are looking for volunteers to teach, ideally, multiple sessions of a specific area, and possibly mentor/guide students during their lab.

  *   Imaging and Deployment
  *   End-Point Security
  *   Introduction to Data
  *   SQL
