[Hidden-tech] Makerspace in northern Pioneer Valley?

I googled "Amherst Maker Space" earlier this year, wondering the same thing.

Quite  a few spaces that come up. One affiliated with UMass, one with the Local Community Access Television, and one affiliated with the Rec. Department.

"Amherst Maker Space" looks the most applicable to me.  http://www.amherstmakerspace.com/about-us/the-space/

They list a wonderful set of tools, and seem community focused. They are affiliated with the middle school and Amherst Town Rec department.

Membership prices are ~ $25 / month for individual non-residents.

I would love to hear first hand accounts of this space, or any other locals.

Cheers,

- Noah
