[Hidden-tech] Alternatives to Google Custom Search Engine?

HI all,
Thank you for the input.

I thought I had Google CSE and I received notice from Google that it was
being phased out. They started showing ads on my site since I couldn't
renew payment any longer to stop that from happening. And supposedly it
won't work at all starting April 2018.

Anyway, the good news for me is that the Wordpress site search (built-in)
is now a great option so I have switched to that and I'm happy. No ads, no
plugins, no fuss, no cost. Good search results. Yay!
