[Hidden-tech] speech to text recommendations

Hello Gang, I have a big project coming up that will involve transcribing a
lot audio recordings...
I like what I saw when I tested out google's speech to text program but I
can't seem to find out how much it costs to 'own' it...stuck behind the
whole google cloud platform or something...

Anyone have experience using Google speech to text program or any other
programs (for Mac) that would be up to the challenge of hours and hours and
hours of audio recording transcription? thanks in advance for any tips
