I believe there is a Geek Squad at the Best Buy at the Holyoke Mall. If it's an external power supply that has a transformer that you plug into the laptop that has the issue, HP can probably replace it. If the board is fried it's probably not worth replacing but Geek Squad or a similar service may be able to save or download the hard drive if that's important.
